Τα μισά σχεδόν από τα καλύτερα άλμπουμ που ακούσαμε το 2013 ήταν από Άγγλους καλλιτέχνες όπως οι Arctic Monkeys, Disclosure και (Ντέιβιντ Μπαόυι) David Bowie, οι Bastille έπαιζαν συνέχεια στο ραδιόφωνο ενώ ο Ρόμπι Γουίλιαμς (Robbie Williams)επέστρεψε στον ποπάδικο θρόνο του.

Όλοι αυτοί είναι μέσα στους υποψήφιους των φετινών Brit για τα οποία ο τελευταίος είχε μιλήσει με τα χειρότερα πέρσι και δε λείπουν οι συνάδελφοι εκτός Αγγλίας όπως ο Τζάστιν Τίμπερλεικ (Justin Timberlake) που θριαμβευσε με το “20/20 Experience”, η ελαφρώς απογοητευτική Λέιντι Γκάγκα (Lady Gaga) κι οι Daft Punk.
